Educational Requirements for becoming an Emergency Nurse

One can not plan to start his career as an Emergency Nurse without passing NCLEX exam conducted by the National Council of State Board of Nursing. Teaching: Emergency nurses educate people through different programs to promote wellness and prevent injuries. They guide people on different topics like alcohol awareness, helmet safety, gun safety and child passenger safety.

Management and Research: Emergency nurses can also serve as administrators, managers and researchers who work for health care.

Some common areas of specialization for an emergency nurse include: pediatric nursing, geriatrics, injury prevention and trauma. They must be always prepared to serve people in any situation.
