Only single payer health care reform like HR676 will save money

Medicare for all will spread out the costs.

Medicare is so expensive right now because it is being used for the most sick and elderly people. By putting healthy young people on Medicare, the individual per person costs will go down dramatically.

Medicare for all is not socialized medicine.

You pick your private doctor, you get the treatment you should, and they pay relatively quickly. Further if more people can get preventative health care, we will have less sick people using the expensive treatments.

Cutting waste

Certainly waste must be cut, systems need to be streamlined, and more doctors and health care professionals need to be trained, but there is no mistake that we will cut costs, not raise costs, if we implement a true single payer system.

Current health care reform debate

The current much-debated system is not single payer. We already spend 31% of health care dollars on non health care administration costs, all of which will be eliminated under a plan like HR676. AND everyone will be covered!

National single-payer health care for all, like HR676, will cost less than we spend today and cover all people regardless of income, age, or pre-existing illness. HR676 is the best system for America. HR676 is the solution to rising health care costs. We already have the infrastructure, it only needs to be expanded, improved and funded. Having a plan like HR676 would cut the waste and fraud currently caused by corporate greed.

If tax payers added up the amount they currently spend on health care, insurance, co-payments and drugs that they currently spend it clear that is more than it would cost the average citizen in taxes to fund HR676.
