Meet Chloe and Owen: best buds since their sandbox days. Now, in med school as they attempt to balance the weight of their studies. The story centers around two professionals who meet but are too busy to find a mate. They agree to have an intimate relationship with no strings attached. Things get complicated when the guy falls for the girl, who's dating someone else. The script was written by Keith Merryman and David Newman, but Gluck is expected to do a polish of the script

God the premise for FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS feels tired. Two people try to have a relationship based on casual . Said two people then fall for each other. What, really? I didn't see that coming!

I was being sarcastic. I totally saw that coming.

That being said, the trailer for Will Gluck's FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS is terrific and the movie looks great. Damn you and your charisma, Justin Timberlake! Damn you and your everything, Mila Kunis! Plus, the trailer has music from Sem isonic. Am I the only one who still rocks those guys?
The supporting cast is stellar in this, consisting of Woody Harrelson, Patricia Clarkson, Emma Stone and even Richard Jenkins. Not too shabby.

Will Gluck's last film, EASY A, won over many fans. I didn't like it as much as most but I was still impressed by his work. I'm hoping FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS is just as strong.

If you would have told a 12-year-old me that I would someday be a fan of Justin Timberlake's acting abilities, I would have slapped you in the face. But I can't deny it, I really dig the guy.

Watch the green band trailer below or head over to the movie's Facebook page to get a load of all the red band action. FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS opens July 22nd.

Director Gorman Bechard's independent film "Friends (with benefits)," showing at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Cable Car Cinema as part of the SENE Film, Arts, Music Festival, is what would happen if you took the casts of "Friends" and the British TV show "Couples" and ad ded a whole lot of and dirty words.

The premise of "Friends (with benefits)" is that " partners and friends don't mix." In other words, don't develop a romantic relationship with a friend. Then the script, written by Gorman and Ashley McGarry, sets out to demolish that theory.

"Friends (with benefits)" revolves around six friends three men and three women who are twenty-something who babble on and on about nothing but in the most graphic, blatant terms. Throughout the film they're sitting in a group session recounting the ups and downs of their desires and experiences to a psychiatrist who seems amazed at their amoral and rather childish views of and relationships, which we see played out in flashbacks. As one of them puts it, it's all very decadent.
