Lose Weight And Keep It Off

With all of the technology available today, why is it so difficult to find a diet plan which helps people effectively lose weight and keep it off? Whether you are looking to lose weight or you've already lost weight and desire to keep it off, this article will help.By definition, dieting can refer to a when a person modifies the food they typically eat while they lose weight. The other definition of dieting is; the regular food a person consumes. Although these two forms of the word are spelled the same the two definitions are mutually exclusive. That is to say, either a person is "dieting" or they are eating their "normal" diet. The reason for pointing this out is to suggest that this is the core of our problem when we are trying to lose weight and keep it off.The problem typically follows this pattern; that which we eat causes us to gain weight, which in turn, creates the desire to lose this excess weight. We then change our normal eating pattern in a way that will allow the weight to be lost. Having accomplished this task, we then resume our "normal" eating pattern again. Why then, don't we simply continue eating on the plan that enables us to lose weight?Probably because nobody wants to live on a diet! Right? But we are always on a diet; simply a normal one or one designed to lose weight. Remember the two definitions above? I've never met anyone who has told me they genuinely enjoy dieting. And why would they? Basically, dieting typically refers to the times in our lives when we deliberately deprive ourselves of all of our favorite foods and spend most of our waking moments waiting for the time to finally arrive when we can stop starving ourselves and eat normally again. Dieting to lose weight is difficult enough. If you are looking to keep the weight off, you will need to do more than dieting alone.

The phenomenon described above is the foundation of the "yo-yo" dieting syndrome. Everyone has done this from time to time. For others, this has become a way of life. But why would anyone want to live this way? Because the alternative sounds too difficult. "The alternative"? You ask. Yes, there is another way; and it sounds really difficult. Even though it really isn't difficult at all, it simply seems like it would be. That's why so few people ever discover it. "What is this alternative method which would save us all from the depths of despair caused by eternal dieting?" The solution is "Learning How To Eat (Again)". If you truly desire to lose weight and keep it off forever, this is the only real option. Sounds difficult doesn't it? I'm not suggesting a way you will use to lose weight for a short period of time and then go back to your old style of eating. What I'm suggestion is that you change the way you eat forever so you can keep the weight off.Is there anyone still reading this article? Really? Cool! Let's move on then. Please rest assured that this is not a radical diet plan that will leave you "wanting" for normal food every waking moment of your life. In fact, you can eventually learn to incorporate every type of food you've always loved. However, the plan needs to be set up for you personally. Your first step will be to determine your daily needs and limitations and you will need to determine the rate at which you will initially lose the weight. During this process, you will learn the "cause and effect" of all the foods you typically eat. This will take about three months to fully implement but in the meantime, you can lose as much as 3-4 pounds per week if you desire to lose at that rate. Ultimately, this will allow you to lose as much weight as you desire and keep it off for good! "Can this really be done?" Absolutely! I lost over 85 lbs using this method over twenty-two years ago and I've been able to keep the weight from return ing to this day!

When searching for a way to transform my typical diet to establish a permanent weight control program, I found only one method which works. This method requires a thorough knowledge of the fat content contained within foods we typically consume. By learning to master this knowledge, we can easily modify our daily eating habits in such a way as to allow total control of our weight. Once you learn how much "fat" is in the foods you are currently eating, it becomes a relatively simple matter to reduce the overall level of your daily fat intake and begin losing weight. How much must your level of fat intake be reduced to? That depends on too many factors to even pretend to know the "exact" answer. It varies for each person. However, in general terms, you only need to reduce your daily fat intake level to the point where you see your weight start to decline. For most people, this level will be around 30-50 grams per day initially. But to maintain the weight loss, the level reall y needs to be reduced to around 20 grams per day. This seems to be the "magic" number which allows your body to lose weight indefinitely. Of course, your physical activity level will have an significant impact on your weight loss as well. However, using this method, even if your daily activities are quite sedentary, you can still continue to lose weight using this method. The effectiveness of this plan is quite fascinating because it allows you to totally control your weight. I know of no other method which truly helps people to lose weight and keep it off permanently.Should you choose to exercise while implementing this plan, you will experience progress even more rapidly, but it isn't necessary. You will lose weight and keep it off regardless of exercise using this method.
